Great Soundbars for Your HDTV
With the exception of the Bose VideoWave, the built-in speakers on HDTVs generally suck. And yet investing in a complete home theater system with a receiver and multiple speakers is a hassle. That is where the soundbar comes in. We have tested a bunch and these are PCMag's favorites. I just bought the Sony HT-CT260 and I love it. (My neighbors aren't quite as enthusiastic.)

Hands On With the Acer Iconia A1
Just a few days after BlackBerry's CEO Thorsten Heinz declared there was no future in the tablet market, Acer is debuting a 7.9-inch tablet, the Iconia A1. There is no question the tablet market is growing quickly, but the A1 is going up against the iPad mini, Google Nexus 7, and Kindle Fire--all very successful products in their own ways. PCMag's Eugene Kim was at the launch event and got some hands-on time with the device. Here are his impressions.
