Review: GoPro Hero3 Black Edition
After 20 years of covering the industry, I think of myself as a pretty clear-eyed observer of tech. Although I have committed occasional acts of hyperbole, I tend to be pretty circumspect in my evaluations. That said, I think the GoPro is the most important digital camera of the last five years. There is nothing remarkable about the technology but no other device has had a bigger impact on how video is shot. Portable, rugged, cheap, and 4K? Just awesome. Check out Eugene Kim's full review.

Xbox One vs. PlayStation 4
I attended the Sony PlayStation 4 launch event and I watched the Xbox One launch stream. After seeing both, I have to say I'm deeply conflicted about my next console purchase. I have been a PlayStation guy for the last seven years, but the TV-centric integration on the Xbox One looks very cool. Of course, this non-gaming focus is driving real Xbox fans nuts. Here we lay out what we know about both boxes to help you make a decision. And you have plenty of time to mull it over since neither box will ship until the fall.

What You Missed at AllThingsD
Walt Mossberg is best-known as "that tech guy from the Wall Street Journal." He is also the founder of AllThingsD, an exclusive tech conference at which tech luminaries and the reporters that write about them get to rub elbows. It is a very cool event. PCMag's Michael Miller has been blogging furiously since the event started. Check out his analysis on Forward Thinking.

Geek.com Interview With Kevin Smith
Have you ever wondered how the invincible Superman shaves? No? Well, you have now. The good news is that Geek.com's Russell Holly pried answers to this question and countless others from the slightly twisted mind of Clerks, Mallrats, and relatively mediocre comic book version of the Bionic Man. (I don't mean to judge but, honestly, I expected more.) Kevin Smith holds forth on all matters of geek arcana, including Zod's spaceship, Amy Adams, and threat digital comics pose to comic shop owners.
