Microsoft Xbox One Revealed No, that's not a typo. Microsoft's newest Xbox is called the Xbox One (not to be confused with the original Xbox, of course.) Announced today and available for purchase later this year, the Xbox One will come with a revamped controller and Kinect sensor, which Microsoft said "is now an essential and integrated part of the platform." Aireal Improves Your Kinect Controller If you've ever wasted time jumping up and down in front your Xbox Kinect controller to get it to respond, then Disney Research's new Aireal technology will be a welcome development. Aireal is a solution that Disney Research says "delivers interactive tactile experiences in free air." The device sits on top of your TV next to Kinect and pumps out compressed air.
