We finished our review of the new Flickr this week and we liked it a lot. If Instagram is worth a billion dollars with nothing but smartphone selfies, imagine what Flickr is worth now that it offers 1TB of storage for high-quality images. The Flickr makeover goes way beyond redesigning the homepage, although that was certainly overdue. PCMag's Michael Muchmore explains why you should log back into the site.

5,000,000-Piece LEGO X-Wing Lands on Times Square
You never know what will come up in our morning news meeting. New security breaches, the latest patent fight, a five million-piece X-Wing fighter landing in Times Square. Half of the staff wanted to head over to cover the Lego event, but we have products to review around here. Instead, we sent our staff photographer, Eddie Shenckloth, to shoot some photos. He did one better by mounting a GoPro to his mobile D-SLR rig. Check out the photos and videos.

Forget Passwords, Use Passphrases for Extra Security
There is a fundamental problem with passwords: No matter how good your password is, if it is a word, it can be broken via a brute force attack.
