The Top 6 New Features in Windows 8.1 Last week PCMag's Michael Muchmore was out in San Francisco for Build, Microsoft's conference for Windows developers. While he was there he got to spend some time with the next version of Windows. As you would expect from a point release, there aren't any truly radical changes. That said, Microsoft has removed many of the most annoying aspects of Windows 8. Here's what's new. This is standard procedure for us and, to be honest, I do like having all of the levels unlocked for me just in case I get stuck.
